Shelter

Pop song-writing, production & remixing duo, Shelter consist of Mark R Bebb ( vocals / lyrics) and Rob Bradley (music / programming). Shelter started out in 1999 as UK national regional finalists in Future Music Publishing’s undiscovered originals song-writing competition from over 8,000 entries.

Their 5 star (iTunes) debut album ‘emerge’ was released to critical acclaim on the Ministry of Pop label in October 2014. “Emerge comprises a whopping great 17 tracks of electronic finery that travel through an electronic time period ranging from the early 80s, featuring styled synth hooks and Kraftwerk vocoded lyrics, through Euro-Disco bass lines culminating in a modern day polish that brings the intertwining musical styles up to date and marries them seamlessly”. Prior to ’emerge’, Shelter worked with Erasure’s legendary front man Andy Bell, on his third album ‘iPop’ which reached No.47 on the iTunes Pop Chart. This also gave the band an opportunity to work with Ivor Novello award winner and the other half of Erasure, Vince Clarke, on the infectious pop track ‘Lift Me Up’.

Shelter – fierce!

Most recently Shelter supported Erasure on their recent sell out Violet Flame tour at dates in the UK and across Europe.
